Dr. Kossman

Alan J. Kossman, DDS has been in private practice since 1992 after earning his dental degree from the University of Illinois. Dr. Kossman is an active member of the American Dental Society, the Illinois State Dental Society, the Winnebago County Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Boone County Dental Study Club.
Dr. Kossman is on the cutting edge of dental technology. He frequently attends seminars on office automation and the
latest in dental techniques and materials. He strives to continue his education so that might better serve his patients and his staff. Recently, Dr. Kossman and his staff have taken courses on, CPR and Basic Lifesaving, OSHA Compliance, Periodontal Diseases, Drugs used in Dentistry and the
successful Esthetic Practice.
Dr. Kossman and his wife, Ann are residents of
Belvidere. He enjoys biking, traveling, camping, and photography, He is an avid collector of art, antiques, and sports and music memorabilia.

Pam, Sue, Tricia, and Chris serve as Office Coordinators. They are highly skilled professionals who will assist you in scheduling your appointments, working with your financial and insurance concerns, and maintaining your dental record. They are a friendly and dedicated group who will handle much of your behind the scene details of running our dental practice.
Diane, Keely, and Denise are Registered Dental Hygienists who serve as prevention Coordinators. They are experienced clinicians who will work with you during your dental exams and cleanings. These people oriented professionals are thorough, yet gentle, and will offer you suggestions for the prevention of dental disease.
Tracy, Julie and Tiffany are Certified Dental Assistants who serve as Patient Coordinators. They assist Dr. Kossman during various dental procedures. Other duties include sterilization, supply orders, and patient follow up calls. These motivated professionals will really make your dental experience with us both interesting and enjoyable.
Erica is a Housekeeping Specialist who works after school, to make sure that the reception area, office, and restrooms are clean.
